Hello everyone, long time no see!
I’m so sorry that I’ve been neglecting the blog the past few weeks. My personal life has been getting kinda busy lately, I’ve been trying to balance a couple jobs and honestly, I’ve been feeling a little creatively stumped.
I’m still learning so much at nineteen and I’m really proud of the progress that I’ve made just in the past year alone, but creative burn-out is a very real thing and it’s something I’m a little new to. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had plenty of writers block in the past and I’m not unfamiliar with that feeling but I feel like lately my passions have been taking a bit of a back seat.
I love writing about video games and I love having an outlet to share my opinions on them. The WordPress community is one of the kindest and most humbling group of people and I’m really grateful that people enjoy what I post, so thank you to everyone who stops by to leave a comment or a like or even just takes the time to read what I write, it honestly means a lot.
I promise I do have some posts in the works and I’ll definitely have them out soon, but to tide all of you lovely readers over until then I thought I’d give you some exciting news!
As some of you may know from this post I’m currently writing for a site called GameRVW. It’s been such a cool experience and I feel like I’m improving a lot with my writing, not to mention the team that I work with is super cool too.
So to get a little bit of promotion for the site I’m joining Sonya and Sacha once again on the radio! I’ll be talking a little bit about mental health in relation to video games as well, as the first feature article I wrote for the site was about mindfulness in games and I thought it would be an interesting topic to cover.
The interview will take place on Wednesday the 11th of July at 11:30am on 88.3 Southern FM. So if anyone is Melbourne based please feel free to tune in!
If you guys have any suggestions on stuff to talk about for the interview please let me know! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the topic.
Thanks so much for reading! 🙂
